Heide DE BRUYNE

(Belgium, 1955-)

The main motifs in Heide De Bruyne's work are the junctions and links woven into the material. She finds her inspiration in nature, plants, willow branches, threads, etc., which she then knots together to form three-dimensional structures that become magmas of lines and shapes. They look like storks' nests, giant spider cocoons and plant installations worthy of renowned artists. Heide De Bruyne works at the Zonnelied studio, Lennik (Belgium).
