Helmut Nimczewski's works radiate light, clarity and gaiety. Everything is uniform and the same, the imposing panoramas are rendered in all their rigour and static nature, but the lines and shimmering colours, as well how they alternate, create a rhythmic effect. He is an enthusiastic photographer and takes carefully framed photos of the buildings and places that catch his eye: railway stations, football stadiums, annual markets, fairgrounds, ports, tall buildings, etc. He does not copy photographic models, but transforms them in the sense of order. His compositions are rigorous, the details precise and the enumerations exhaustive.
