Hendrik HEFFINCK

Hendrik Heffinck, an installationi artist, came to assemblage via painting. Little by little, he started integrating objects in it, giving them an air of combine painting à la Rauschenberg. Soon there would only be objects, assembled with any links and ties he happened upon.

‘Kunst’ (art): that is what Hendrik Heffinck calls all of his creations. No law can possibly apply to all outsider artists:realty is many-sided. Whereas some of them have no access to the concept of art, being ignorant of the rules, or ignoring them, others make a special point of this to profess it.
