These sentences, so tightly strung together as to be illegible, are in fact prayers. Jill Galliéni addresses them first to Saint Rita and then to the Virgin Mary. She felt the need to start this practice around the age of thirty, she then abandoned it for several years, wondering if her spirituality could take on a material form; she then took it up again once she felt reassured about it. Jill Galliéni has also created unique textile dolls, where her prayers can be distinguished since they were not created for the purpose of being seen by an audience.
