Karel LAENEN

His works, with their shimmering colours and surreal titles, are hybrid compositions in which fragments of fauna, flora, humans and the cosmos are joyfully intertwined. For many years now, he has been drawing continuously with joy and relish in the creative workshop of the psychiatric hospital in Geel (Kunsthuis Yellow Art), but also at home, with his foster family.
