Kazimierz CYCON
(Poland, 1931-2004)
Kazimierz Cycon tirelessly depicted the same motif. A figure with its head bowed, appearing prostrate, its eyes more or less hallucinating. His pictorial work, which he began at the age of 42, has become increasingly graphic, in an infinite range of colours. Refusing all contact with others, he has rejected the advice of the doctors and therapists around him. His creations reflect the inward-looking attitude that characterises him.
