Yves-Jules FLEURI

Flat areas of acrylic and dark outlines are the constants in the work of Yves-Jules Fleuri, who has been working in the Campagn'art studio in Neufvilles since 1997. He specialises in royal and presidential portraits, but also reproduces all kinds of images, from tarot cards to classic paintings, imprinting them with his own distinctive style that distorts them into squeaky characters with carnivorous smiles or luscious lips in a pop aesthetic. His works are always framed by a frame designed by the artist himself, featuring the caption. As colourful as his paintings, Yves-Jules Fleuri is also a magician.
